Do you love my necklace? There's a canary in the cage. During the 1940s, miners used to carry a canary down into the coal mine with them, and when it starts to die (of inhalation), they knew to get out of the mine before they died too. It may sound morbid but this is my canary, and he lets me know when I've been thrifting for too long! haha. I found a new thrift store today that's MASSIVE and was in heaven for about 4 hours straight.
